Our Cow & Calf to Dick Hudson’s and back walk is nearly here! Time to dig out your boots, find your woolly hat, and check that your torch does more than flicker! 😄

📍 Meet at the Cow & Calf Pub
Hangingstone Road, Ilkley, LS29 8BT
🕝 Meet at 2.30 pm — setting off at 3 pm sharp!

We’ve got 7.5 miles of moorland adventure, fresh Yorkshire air and good company to enjoy—with plenty of opportunity to question whose bright idea this was! 😂

🥾 Difficulty: Moderate
🚗 Parking: Cow & Calf Pub or café car park—please check parking conditions.
🚻 Toilets: At the Cow & Calf Pub, café or Dick Hudson’s, during opening hours.
👶 Buggy friendly: No—this one’s for boots and willing legs!

🔦 PLEASE BRING A POWERFUL TORCH!
We’ll be walking after dark, so check your batteries and bring spares. Moonlight and an optimistic smile won’t quite do the job!

🧥 Wrap up warmly, wear sturdy boots, and bring waterproofs, a drink, and a snack.

🌧️ If the weather turns against us, we’ll head to the pub! There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing… although Yorkshire does occasionally like to test that theory!

Running late? Follow the mapped route only if you’re confident navigating it safely after dark.
